Ebiere packed a lot into a one hour discussion. She helped me think through and identify my priorities for my children and provided sound advice with practical examples on how to work towards the goals. She also gave great references where I could get additional support. I will be having additional consultations with Ebiere in future, as I guide my kids to achieve their potential in all areas of their lives.
The first session was an eye opener. I had expectations of the first session but the session exceeded my expectation. Ebiere is a great listener and covered areas that I didn’t realise needed to be delved into in a relaxing conversational way. She did a great summary at the end and I could see how the pieces of the puzzle fit in and how my upbringing and past experiences subconsciously affects the way I react to my child and view issues of life.
The delve deep session was another eye opener. It made me look into my past from the perspective of an outsider and the word that sums up my upbringing is negligence. My siblings and I had all the material things but we were emotionally neglected. So like the house built on sand, when challenges of life arise, we are not resilient and we crumble……..
Therefore, I desire a better upbringing for my daughter and working on loving myself so that my interactions with my child would be an outflow of love.
This Discipline course was packed full of extremely helpful information. I had so many 'aha' moments and I'm looking forward to putting into practice some of the tips I learnt. Thank you so much for all that you do! I would highly recommend EVERY parent to check out this course! Thank you!
I really got value from our session. I did exactly as we discussed, had an open and honest conversation with my daughter. At the end of the day she came up with her own reasons as opposed to my own views. The point was that she was able to make informed decision of what she wants without any form of pressure from me. Guess what!! She chose the school we both thought it’s good for her. Communication and connection were the key thing. I am really impressed.
I felt empowered as a result of the discover session. Ebiere gave simple and practical tips for dealing with difficult situations. It was a relief knowing that it was ok to make mistakes, reflect and learn from it. The session emphasised the need to be observant and nurture my child’s gifts and talents and what my child is teaching me about myself.
When I needed help concerning a parenting challenge I had been facing, I was lucky to have the opportunity to reach out to Ebiere and let’s just say I have felt so empowered ever since. She showed me she understood what I was going through, no judgment. Almost as if she could relate to it and that really took some of my ‘guilt weight’ off. My session with Ebiere was great. I learnt the importance of coming up with strategies to help my child win on the behavioural front. Ebiere suggested practical strategies to use in the correction of a child. I also felt empowered to come up with practical ways to correct my child and stand up for my child in the presence of the older generation.
